In Need of Disposable Underwater Cameras?

When you are in a rush, you might find yourself buying disposable underwater cameras just so you can take a photo of you with that dolphin. It is possible. Here are three of the most common disposable underwater cameras that you should get to know. These three are film-based cameras, so you would have to go to a developing store and have them process your film

There are two disposable underwater cameras that I would recommend to you. These are the Fujifilm Quick Snap Waterproof 35mm Single Use Camera and the Kodak MAX Water & Sport Single Use Camera.

The Fujifilm Quick Snap Waterproof 35mm Single Use Camera is both for photos taken on land and underwater. You can take photos even if it is raining since it is waterproof. This Fujifilm model, like most single use cameras, is best when there is sufficient sunlight – above or under water. It can take photos until 20 meters, but the best quality photos would be those taken until 8 meters only.

Even if it can take fine photos with not much lighting, photos are still better if given proper light. Users suggest trying the camera on land first to practice how it works to ensure convenience when used underwater. The camera’s control buttons, such as the wheel that advances the film, is particularly easy to find even without looking.

Another interesting disposable camera is the Kodak MAX Water & Sport Single Use Camera. It has a durable and shockproof rubber shell that is perfect for rough roads (can also be used as underwater digital cameras for beginners).

This model is also waterproof up to 50 feet, although the lighting would still have to be considered. The lens of the Kodak Max is scratch-resistant and sunscreen-resistant, so that you would not have to worry about blurry pictures due to smudges and scratches. However, its 800 film, although ideal for moving subjects, produces grainy photos that others might not appreciate.

Another negative aspect is its small eyepiece that would make it difficult for others to take photos while underwater.

These two cameras both have straps that you can put around your wrist. Their prices are also quite decent given the fact that they are disposable underwater cameras that you would only use once. Even if they don’t take the best photos, they do still serve their purpose.
