A Close Look at the Fuji Underwater Camera
One popular Fuji underwater camera is the cool and fashionable 10-megapixel FinePix Z33WP, the first waterproof digital camera of Fujifilm. With photos having a maximum resolution of 3648 x 2736 pixels, the FinePiz Z33WP is waterproof up to 10 feet, has a Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens, and a large and crisp 2.7-inch, 230K-pixel LCD screen with Micro Thumbnail View.
Positive Aspects of Fuji
This Fuji Underwater Camera can take and allow you to print large photos, thanks to the 10-megapixel resolution. Aside from the large resolution, the photo quality is also good based on the vividness.
The Automatic Scene Recognition (or the SR AUTO mode) will make your outdoor and underwater navigation a lot easier because of the automatic intelligent recognition of six different types of scenes. In this mode, the camera will enhance the photo’s ideal exposure, focus, white balance, and ISO to produce the best quality. It also has the Fujifilm’s Picture Stabilization feature (powered by high sensitivity) to enable faster shutter and operational speeds that can reduce blurs from camera shake.
You can also easily share your photos with the Blog Mode of the Z33WP, which will resize photos to standard 640 x 480 pixels (VGA) or 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA) sizes and enable basic editing like zooming, miniature effect, illustration and painting. There are also a lot of shooting modes and handy features that you can choose from with function buttons that are also easy to find and use. Other features include the red-eye remover, macro shooting, face detection, timer mode, and one touch movie mode that can capture videos with up to 30 fps. It even has fine movie audio.
Other positive aspects include an LCD display that does not glare too much, good battery life, and the use of SD cards.
Negative Aspects
There are still a few negative aspects to this camera though just like in the discussion about disposable underwater cameras. The indoor shots might have too much noise and that it has a propriety USB cable that might be an additional baggage for you. Other than that, this Fuji Underwater Camera is really worth its price and worth your try.
